I GOT TO BRAINSTORMING WITH A FRIEND, who is al ot more artistic than me, and we managed to hammer out a mascot for the club. like, real, solid details.
SO HERE COMES THE CONTEST OKAY.

Details
HER name is Saho-hime, goddess of spring (google that shit)
Flower: saho tree peony
Colors: springish, but link it to the riverwalk for extra points
Basic Descript: Brown hair (shade of choice), matching eye color of choice, clothing can be a spring kimono, or tradtional attire of choice in springtime/riverwalk-y colors.
Image can have a simple background, or none (will require a backgroundless file for use on materials, however).

- Submissions may not be a tracing that is directly lifted from an anime or manga scene even if the character design is modified to be original. Any entries discovered to be a tracing will be disqualified and the artist will not be allowed to enter future contests.
- Artwork must be G or PG rated. Nothing overtly risque or offensive. Clothing must cover key areas. No suggestive posing.
- It is highly preferred that all submissions have layers if at all possible. Do not flatten your image. Submitted art needs to be in TIF or PSD/Photoshop format [preferred]. We will also accept JPG/PNG files. If submitting a JPG/PNG file, let us know if you have a EPS/PSD/PDF (Photoshop/Illustrator) file available so that we can ask for it if your entry is selected.
- Please make sure the picture is high-resolution at 300DPI. Please be at minimum 1365 x 1024 pixels. Bigger is better. The preferred canvas size for T-Shirt entries is 12″ x 15″.

SO. OKAY. YEAH. I had to cancel meetings, but now I have a job and I'll be contacting Adam at Heroes shortly to set up meetings again. However, due to the nature of it's the holiday season, we probably won't be having formal meetings until after New Years. So, STAY TUNED!!

okay. I know you guys are probably really frustrated with how migratory this club has been, and I apologize profusly. But I've finally got in contact with Heroes and Fantasies (San Antonio), and, permantly, from September onwards we'll be holding our meetings there. Should MOST of the time be the 3rd Saturday of each month, 5-9pm. But there is a chance we'll be pushed up or back a week, depending on what happens at the store. :)
So I thank you for your patience, and I hope to see you at the meetings!

Yeah, no meeting today, because, GUESS WHAT, our HQ location SHUT DOWN. MYSTERIOUSLY. ON THE 15TH.

UPDATE!
Our, FOR REAL, official location is Dungeon Comixs, located at 5509 Blanco Rd San Antonio TX 78216. Our meetings will be every 3rd Saturday of the month, 5-9pm, starting June 30th.
MARK YOUR CALENDERS, EVERYONE, AND PLEASE COME OUT. I am really sorry for the inconviences the last few cancellations have caused, but it's been a hassle trying to get a location secured down.
I'd like to thank Dungeon Comix's for working with me, and allowing us to have our meetings there (the good news it, once you google map it, you'll find that's it's not so far from Ooples/WLoA Mall). Funny, that. 8D
